Yelena Y. Toskhoparan, 92, of Fishers passed away on January 21, 2018. She was born on November 19, 1925 to Yakov and Lidiye (Streltsova) Dudnick in Slavyanska, Ukraine.
Yelena and her late husband Vitaly lived in the Northeastern part of Russia where they were exiled to after WW II, under the Stalin regime. When Vitaly passed in 2001 Yelena came to the US to live with her daughter, Tatyana, and son-in-law Kevin. She enjoyed cooking traditional Russian food, gardening and reading. She also loved her cats Stinky and Smokey. She attended catholic mass regularly at Holy Spirit in Geist.
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband, Vitaly and.
Her is survived by two daughters Tatyana (Kevin) Croak of Fishers, Indiana, and Margarita Zhukov of Krasnodar Russia; grandsons Sergey Zhukov Krasnodar, Russia, and Roman Belenky of Brooklyn, New York; great grandchildren, George and Ekaterina Zhukov and Jack Stone-Belenky.
Memorial contributions should go to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, Indiana.
