
William Calvin Wardle
(May 13, 1935 – May 21, 2017)
William “Bill” Calvin Wardle, 82, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Wellbrooke of Westfield.
Service to be held for Bill at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Military Honors.
Bill was born in Agate, Colorado on May 13, 1935 to James and Nellie Wardle. He moved at age 4 with his family to DeRidder, Louisiana. He graduated from DeRidder High School and made DeRidder his home for many years. Bill served in the United States Air Force at the end of the Korean War Conflict. After service, he pursued in farming prior to moving to Woodstock, Georgia, where he was employed at Bo Bo’s Plumbing until retirement.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all. He is survived by his beloved wife Betty of 59 years, daughter MaryAnn (Tom) Lampo of Noblesville, Indiana, son David (Melody) Wardle of Roswell, Georgia. He had 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson, 5 great grandchildren. He has one survived twin brother, Bob Wardle (Sue) of DeRidder. Many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Wardle, father, mother, brother Stephen Harry Wardle, and sisters Betty Ann Miller and Ethel Mae Albarado.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the Staff of Transitions Hospice at Wellbrooke of Westfield Management and Nursing Staff for their loving care and support.
