VITALE A. D’AMBROSIO, age 89, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 22, 2017 in Westfield IN. Beloved husband of Justine (Coury) D’Ambrosio. Stepfather to Bill (Hanan), Chris (Dina), Alex (Deb), Michelle (Bob) and Emily (Dan). Cherished Pap Pap to 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, the late Mary D’Amboise and father to Anthony and Gloria. Vitale was also preceded in death by his siblings, Rose, Lucy, Sammy and Carmen. Cherished Uncle of Carmen (Frances), Salvatore (Carla), Anthony (Ruth), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Vitale was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of the 4th degree. A private service will be held in Indiana with family and friends at the end of November.
