Katy, I was a classmate of your mother’s in Lenoir City. We met when we were ten in the fifth grade. I knew her as Sue (which I gather she hated since she changed it as soon as she left for college.) We were in Girl Scouts and the other activities that were common at that time. Our mothers were room mothers and I spent the night at her house several times. Her mother was very kind to my family when my father died when I was 12. I’m sorry to say that we lost touch with one another after high school. From her posts (and yours), I’m glad she had a successful life and three children of whom she was very proud. Take care and keep your memories close.
