Victor R. Dawson, 69, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away February 22, 2018, peacefully at home. Services will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Indy Baptist Temple. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Dawson was born March 7, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He as married for over 52 years.
Victor Dawson was a former bus driver for Southeastern Trailways before retiring to a quiet home life. He loved to watch old movies, tell stories about his childhood, and spend time with his grandchildren, while taking long car rides.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth E. Want; father, Victor William Dawson; and sisters, Ruth Brown and Rosemary Dawson.
Survivore include his wife, Margaret A. Dawson; daughters, Debra Chadd, Darlene Spradin, Victoria Del Rio, and Michelle McNiff; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and half-sister, Marjorie Dawson Hilton.
