Velma Joann Hardin, 80, of Indianapolis, went to Heaven on April 10, 2016. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 9, 1935 to John and Annabell Mattern. Joann married Robert Hardin. She is survived by daughters, Lori Couden and Cathy (Allen) Herzig; grandchildren, Jennifer Green, Lyle (Alyssa) Lawson, George R. and Grant A. Herzig; great grandchildren, Jared, Dylan, and William; and sisters, Georgie Ford and Alicestasia (David) Davis. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and brother, Edward Yoder.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
