Valerie Lynn Jackson, 52, Indianapolis, passed away November 11, 2013.  She was born September 27, 1961 to Richard and Nancy Truex Jackson.  Valerie attended IUPUI and University of Indianapolis, worked at the Star News, and was owner/designer for Wowie Cakes.  Survivors include her mother, Nancy Jackson; sisters, Lisa (Tom Laird) Jackson, Karen Bandonis; nieces and nephews, Molly, Ellie, Sam, Joshua (Kathi); and a great-niece and nephew.  Friends and family may call from noon-1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 17 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.  Memorial contributions may be directed to American Greyhound Rescue, P.O. Box 598, Hobart, IN  46342 or the Humane Society.
