Trudie Ann Thompson, 75, passed away June 6, 2015. She was born at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis to Gerald and Kathryn Thomas on March, 28, 1940.
Trudie was a lifelong resident of the Indianapolis area, graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1958 and began work as a receivables clerk in a career she practiced off and on over 40 years.
Trudie was a warm and loving mother, a protector of animals, an avid Coca-Cola supporter and a lover of daisies. She was also a donor in death, continuing to help people even after she had passed.
She was the silent strength behind a loving and ever-growing family, and will be missed by all who loved her more than words can explain.
She married Frank E. Hill II on February 1, 1959 and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1969. She is survived by her current husband of 42 years, William E. Thompson. She is survived by daughters Cynthia Miller (Reid), Karen Friesen (Rich) and Candice Cline (Doug); son Jake Thompson (Sarah); seven grandchildren (Joey, Kyleigh, Sam, Cooper, Nora, Eric, and Amanda); and seven great-grandchildren (Mason, Torin, Zoey, Keiron, Carter, Emerson, and Elizabeth). Sisters Janet Munter and Joann Pell along with brothers Jeffery Thomas and Ronnie Wratten also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepbrother Russell ‘Teedie’ Sharr Jr. and granddaughter Karli Branagin (Tim-living).
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society or American Heart Association.
