Patricia Goolsby Retherford says
I remember Tom and the other boys as well. My parents and myself, John & Vishia Strong Goolsby lived with Uncle Bill and Aunt Mandy when I was maybe 3 or 4 years old and Tom always took me for rides on the back of the bike. I always remember all of them with such love and gratitude for making my childhood so much fun. Aunt Mandy was my “Indiana Grandma” and I miss all of them so much. My love and condolences for my mother Vishia who isn’t able at this time to understand this loss.
Charlie Terry says
Tom was my grandfather’s brother, Gib Strong. One of my favorite memories was my father, me, Tom and Gib took a road trip to Moss, Tennessee to go turkey hunting while visiting the family we have living there.
Joe Bates says
I have missed my times with Tom for several years now. He was one of my favorite contractors and got me out of a lot of potential trouble over the years. I am sorry I didn’t see him more recently as I always had a good time around him. He was the most generous man I dealt with over the years as a builder, to a fault really. I’ll miss him.
