Teresa Lynn (Muir) Kinney November 4th, 1956 – April 15th, 2018.
It is with great sadness that the family of Teresa Lynn (Muir) Kinney also known to many as “Terry” announces her passing on Sunday April 15th, 2018, at the age of 61 years old.
She will be truly cherished and remembered as a very loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, and sister.
Teresa was first born followed by her five close siblings. A native to Arcadia, IN; Teresa proudly joined the Army services in 1977. She then moved to Beaumont, TX. Upon the big move her siblings joined her. In Texas Teresa and her family shared many unforgettable memories. Time passed as Teresa and her siblings longed to return to Indiana joining their late Mother and Father. Returning to her hometown Teresa met her late loving husband Kevin R. Kinney (1955-2004). Together they raised two beautiful children, Thomas Colby Kinney and Nichole Elise Kinney (Klivansky). Teresa truly loved raising her children and being a mother. As a testament to her strength Teresa endured the loss of her short-lived husband followed by her great mother. Teresa then relocated to Sheridan, IN to begin a new journey where she lived peacefully until her passing. Many people will remember Teresa as an artsy soul that loved to cook. Teresa always had an admirable good natured and free spirit way of life.
She is preceded in death by her mother Kay Francis Davis (Muir) and father James Leon Muir and sister Jamie Mari Muir (Duncan) and late Husband Kevin R. Kinney.
She will leave behind her beloved children Thomas Colby Kinney and Nichole Elise Kinney (Klivansky), and siblings; James Leon Muir, Tracy Leanne Muir (Price), Catherine Louise Muir (Hoggard), and Jessica Dawn Duncan (Hamerick).
