Shirley A. Basey, 76, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on September 2, 2018. She was born on August 21, 1942 in Westmoreland, Tennesse to the late Fred Coates and Marjorie (Stoneking) Garrison.

Shirley is survived by her husband Albert (Bill) Basey Jr.; sons Robert (Donna) Hamilton and Scott Hamilton; Daughter Beth Ann Starker; stepsons Brian Basey and John Bauerle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Franciscan Hospice House and especially Heather, Melissa and Lisa for their special care.

A private celebration of life will be held with immediate family.
