Shane Allen Hogue was born September 6, 1975 in Goshen, Indiana.  He died on April 18, 2017 at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 41 years, 7 months and 12 days.

 

Shane was born to Venus Goble, was in an out of foster care and adoption efforts until he was finally adopted by Janet Enzor when he was about 8 years old.  Janet later was married to Mike Enzor who Shane considered his father.  Shane attended high school in Ashland, Ohio.  He lived and worked in Toledo and Ashland, Ohio; and Goshen and Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was a conveyer  belt technician for the Wainwright Corporation; a welder at Wood-Mizer; and worked in maintenance for Wood Edge Apartments.

 

Shane was married to Marlene Escobar on March 5, 2010 in Indianapolis.

 

Shane and Marlene attended Faith Church.  He enjoyed playing guitar and was working toward participating in the band.  He enjoyed video games and was active on social media.  He was concerned about health and fitness and enjoyed basketball, playing earlier in the day on Tuesday before his death.  He enjoyed Marlene’s children, Jorge and Darlene, playing basketball in the park or helping Darlene with soccer or other sports;  and enjoyed Friday night movie and pizza with his family.

 

Shane is survived by his wife, Marlene Hogue of Indianapolis; his parents, Mike and Janet Enzor of Ashland, Ohio; his birth mother, Venus Goble of Goshen, Indiana; a sister, Angie Hogue of Goshen, Indiana; a son, Logan Standly of Plymouth, Indiana; and step children Jorge Senisse and Darlene Senisse of Indianapolis.

 

Funeral Service on Saturday, April 22 at 1:00 pm at Faith Church, 9125 North College Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana.  Visitation from 12 pm to 1 pm.

    so sorry for the passing of Shane, he was my sons neighbor and when i visited my son Shane always was kind and always ask about tennessee. May god bless and hold you during this time.

    I am so very sorry about Shane. He was such a nice guy. He was always around to help when my car wouldn’t run. He will be missed. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

    I love you so much brother ( Shane Allen Hogue) I don’t know how to keep moving on. You was my rock always by my side my puzzle piece. How do I keep living knowing your no longer with me. I look at my pictures and it was always me and you and now it is just me. Idk understand why he took you I need you more than he will ever need you.
