I will always be amazed at the work God did in you Russ as soon as your committmment to God. Your zeal for visitation to people’s who couldn’t get to church, and leading people to the Lord boldly and compassionately. I
especially am grateful for leading your son Tim to Christ, which eventually married our daughter. He’s been a wonderful addition to our family and your enfluence is seen in him and his children , our shared grandchildren. I am happy to know what you are experiencing in heaven with Jesus. I’m glad to have known you. You’ll be remembered in our lives for a long time.

A few of my favorite memories:
– breakfast. Everyday breakfast! Growing up, the only time I really ate a big breakfast with my papaw and mamaw. They went out to breakfast everyday, normally toting grandchildren along with them. Bob Evans was their number one spot.
– visiting him at his work cafeteria st Eli Lilly
– walking long distances to get anywhere…because we HAD to park at the furthest spot away to avoid the risk of his car being dented.
-feeling special when he took me to watch his favorite team, IU,play in Bloomington.
