
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 11 am at Messiah Lutheran Church, 801 S. Green Street, Brownsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 10 am until the 11 am service time. Burial will be held at a later date at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.
Rosemary Elizabeth Fording, 80, passed away January 17, 2017. She was born on May 25, 1936 to the late Leo and Martha (Feltner) Szewc. Rosemary worked for several years as a bookkeeper and secretary at Carter Lee Lumber Company, Van Bibber Lake, and Messiah Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing the organ, and was Elvis Presley’s biggest fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Kendall (Max) Fording. Rosemary is survived by sons, Curtis Bailey and Clinton (Chris) Bailey; grandson, Dustin (Adrea) Bailey; granddaughter, Michelle Bailey; great-granddaughter, Anastasia Bailey; brothers, Robert (Linda) Szewc and Karl (Kerrin) Szewc; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Rosemary Fording. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest experience that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in the wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promise each of us that very soon, he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones we have lost.(John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mrs. Rosemary.
