
Rosemarie Moore Willey, 83, died peacefully March 23, 2017, and went home to be with the Lord. She was born to Harry T. Moore and Rose Froelich Moore in Wildwood, NJ, March 18, 1934 and lived her younger years in Woodbine, NJ. She graduated from Millville High School. Rosemarie had three brothers and one sister, all of whom are deceased. Upon graduation, Rosemarie entered the United States Navy, where she served for three years during the Korean conflict.
She met and married Rev. Douglass Willey the pastor of her home church, Gethsemane Baptist of Woodbine, NJ. She served as secretary at several institutions including our American Baptist headquarters in Valley Forge, to support her husband while attending seminary. She also shared in her husband’s ministry of pastoral care and visitation.
In addition to her husband, Rosemarie leaves three children: Douglass, Jr., Adelanto, California, Donn Willey, Birmingham, Alabama, and Debbie Klemp, La Grange, Illinois. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, one of whom passed before her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Hoosier Village chapel at April 1, 2017, at 1:00 pm, Indianapolis, IN.n lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemarie’s name to Crooked Creek Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 5540 Michigan Road, Indpls, IN 46228 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st Street, Indpls, IN 46240.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Rosemarie. Prayers for Pastor Willey, Doug, Donn, Debbie and the grandkids as i am sure you will all miss her very much but will look forward to the day you will be with her again in Heaven. I remember her well from her days at First Baptist Church of Downey and i am thankful for her years of service to our Lird and Savior Jesus Christ. I am sure she heard Well Done Good and Faithful Servant when she entered Heaven.
