I was Rosanne’s pastor at Salem Lutheran for all the years I was there (18). She was an always faithful member attending worship, Bible studies and other church events. Lots of trials for her, for sure, but in my experience, she never wavered in faith. I’m assured that she held to her baptismal promise of being in always God’s gracious care.
I’m very sorry that she has died. I moved away in 2010, so didn’t have more communication from her, other than cards and a couple letters. She was so attentive to her mother in her last years – I heard many stories of Rosanne’s growing up in Pike and how much she cherished you and your parents and their role in her life.
May she find peace in God’s eternal hands.
In Jesus name – Pr. Vance
