A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at New Ross Christian Church located at 212 Main St., New Ross, Indiana at 12 pm. Friends and family may visit from 10 am until the service time of 12 pm.
Ronald Brown, of Crawfordsville, passed away on October 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family, he was 70 years old. He was born on July 23, 1945 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to the late Ivan and Elizabeth Brown.
Ron retired from Ray Beslos after 20 years. During his retirement, he enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler, hunting mushrooms, fishing, being a die-hard Colts Fan and taking trips to Florida. He also enjoyed doing things with the grandkids.
Ronald was a previously married to Mary Catherine Brown Sorrells, after they divorced, he met and married Betty (Short) Brady who survives him. He is also survived by: sons, Michael (Jill) Brown of Thorntown, Jeff of Lafayette; daughter, Monica (Clayton) Price of Lafayette; step daughter, Sherry “Sissy” (Jon) Robinson of Crawfordsville; step son, Scott (Laurie) Brady of Darlington; three brothers, Robert of Hillsboro, Ivan (Sandy) and David (Vicki) Brown both of Crawfordsville; sisters, Pearl Churchill of Michigan and Gloria Jean (Ralph) of Alamo; grandchildren, Autumn Ross, Tyler Brown, Meghan Brown, Morgan Taylor Rose Brown, Samantha Brady, Kayla (Richard) Brown Zerby, Kerrie (Kyle) Crow, Kyle Allen Brown, Zachary Seabolt, and Sara Richards; great grandchildren, Sophia Marie Brown, Alivia Curran, Luke Brown, Mason Brown, and Klaire Brown and soon to be great- grandbaby Gavin Leroy ( Named after Grandpa); and many nieces and nephews.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Ron from RRD and used to bowl with him in RRD leagues. Had a bowling ball with a red stripe around it. He always threw a backup ball, and that red stripe would look like it was wobbling all the way down the alley. Ron was a great guy and I’m sure he will be missed by many. RIP Ronnie.
