
Robin Lynn Grove, 50, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after a year-long battle with follicular lymphoma. She fought with grace and courage, and passed without fear or pain. Robin was born on March 14, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was in the graduating class of 1985 at Eastern Hancock High-School, where she was a member of the Royalettes. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, coloring, and singing on her church’s praise team where she was a member.
Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Roberts; maternal-grandparents, Ruth (Sanders) and Harold Moats; paternal-grandparents; Pauline (Scott) and Gerald Grove; and step-brother, Jerry Charles.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley (Moats) Roland; her father, Jerry Grove; her step-mother, Zona Grove; her brother, Scott Grove; her step-sister, Sherri Bufore; her 3 children, Dylan Grove, Krista Roberts, and Brandon Roberts.
A visitation will be held at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 10am to noon. Pastor Mike Stephens will be conducting a service following visitation that will begin at noon. Following the church service, a brief burial service will be conducted at the Crown Hill Cemetery in the Gothic Chapel. A dinner will be held at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church after the burial service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or the church.
