
Robert “Bob” John Kuehr passed away on September 16th, 2016. Born on July 1, 1927, to the late Loretta and Carl Kuehr, Bob was a 50 year parishioner of Holy Spirit Church and retired from Western Electric in 1985.
Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irene Haney Kuehr; his daughters, Karen (Doug) Dewar and Julie (Brian) Armstrong; sister, Carol (Gordon) Tucker; brother, Richard Kuehr; grandchildren, Gina and Shelly Dewar, and Alex and Norah Armstrong. Robert will be united in heaven with his parents, three brothers, Raymond, Donald, and Norman; and two sisters, Margaret Rose Rash and Marianne Carson.
Robert was a compassionate, humble, and gentle man who loved his family, his flower garden, and Notre Dame football. He leaves a legacy of kind compassion for all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 20 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St, Indianapolis, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Bob will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
