Robert A. Kussmaul, 88, of West Lafayette, passed away March 17, 2016. He was born in Gary, Indiana, to William M. and Dorothy M. Kussmaul. He married Mary L. Meeks on November 26, 1948, and served in the U.S. Navy during WW2.

Robert is survived by his wife Mary; Children, Susan A. Spencer of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Robert M. Kussmaul of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Patti M. Elliott of Charlotte, North Carolina; Grandchildren, Hollie and Troy Kussmaul, Jamie Harbison, and Jarred Elliott; as well as 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother; William B. Kussmaul; and Grandsons, Mathew Spencer and Jeffrey Kussmaul.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Faith. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care.
