Rheta F. (Webster) Elkins departed this life on May 14, 2016 surrounded by her family and WALKED into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born on June 3, 1940 in Summitville, Indiana to the late Robert and Anna Webster.

Rheta graduated Summitville High school in 1958. She worked at Thomson (RCA) where she retired from in 1995. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and volunteering for hospice. Rheta loved Rummage sales, Elvis, Marty Robbins, Coca Cola, The Dodgers and I U. Basketball. Most of all she loved her family and they adored her. She was blessed to have a caring family that was so supportive. When Rheta became paralyzed 9 years ago, her family became her caretakers without a second thought. She remained in her home where her husband Thomas took care of her along with her daughter Nikki. She was a member of Grace Community Church

, in Marion.

She is survived by: her husband of 47 + years, Thomas; children, Robin (Lisa) Moon, Dawn Collins, Marty (Teresa) Moon, Todd (Karen) Elkins, Nikki (Mike) Moon, Jamey (Kathy) Moon, Marci (Dwayne) Hendricks, Trisha (Reece) Manning, Eric Elkins; brother, Garry (Ruth) Webster; 16 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; and other nieces, nephews and in-laws. Rheta also loved her dogs: Flicka and Punkin and grand dog Lennon very much.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; siblings, Donna Willhite, Gene, Bobby and Judy Webster.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Summitville Baptist Church, in Summitville, Indiana starting at 2 p.m., family and friends may call from noon until service time. Arrangements entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care. The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care. Memorial donations can be made to the Grant County Humane Society.
