
Randall Vaughn Potts Sr, 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on January 8, 1936 in Crothersville, Indiana, to the late Thomas Edward Potts and Marguerite (Thomas) Potts. Randall was Married to Stella Napier on January 4, 1957 in Brownstown, Indiana. Randal was a retired mechanic and a member of Crosswalk Community Church of God in Beech Grove, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Danny Potts; daughter, Brenda Raney; son-in-law, Randall Raney; brother, Daniel Potts; and sister, Barbara Hayes. He is survived by his wife, Stella (Napier) Potts; sons, Randall Potts Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Michael (Teresa) Potts of Maplesville, Alabama; daughters, Deborah (John) Cordell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Donna (Gregory) Pratt of Chandler, Arizona; brother Bradley Potts of Indianapolis, Indiana; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Crosswalk Community Church of God, 3650 South Sherman Dr, Beech Grove. The family will greet visitors from 10:00 until the time of service. Reverend Gregory Pratt and Reverend Joshua Martin will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Crothersville Cemetery, Crothersville, Indiana.
