
Ralph Dee Kendall, 79, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on July 21, 2016. The son of Everett and Carrie Kendall, he was born in Elliottville, KY.
He graduated from Fillmore High School, Class of 1955.
Ralph served his country in the United States Army for five years as a helicopter mechanic, and received two medals for sharp shooting.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 64. Ralph was a truck driver for Airgroup.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Louise (O’Conner) Kendall, who he married in 1958; daughter, Rhonda (Hank) Watford of Valdasta, GA; sons, Rodney Kendall and Ritchey (Marva) Kendall, both of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much; brother, Don (Barb) Kendall of Greencastle; sister, Kathleen Smith of Coverdale; and a sister-in-law, Betty Kendall of Reelsville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest and Dallas; and sisters, Verna Davies and Nina Nicely.
Services will be at The Point Church, 2578 Donica Road, Greenwood, IN at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, with showing one hour before. Burial will be in Morehead, KY at a later date. Flowers are welcome.
