Queen Esther Brown Hooks,77, Indianapolis, IN passed away April 20, 2018 at home. Born Queen Esther Roberson December 03, 1940 to Mary (Moore) and Alex Roberson in Ringgold, LA. She was the 12th child of the couple.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kenny and Nathan; three brothers; and three sisters.
She accepted Christ at an early age and confessed her love for Christ. She leaves behind her loved ones, husband; Jonathan; granddaughter, Natalie; grandsons, Kenny (Lisa) and Nathan (Nikki); step children, Tonya (Jeff) and Steve (Darlene); brother, William; and a host of grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at noon with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
