Phyllis Russell, 68 of Nineveh passed away April 16, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Phyllis was born to the late James and Virginia Scobell – Slack in Brazil, IN on December 31, 1946. She worked at William H. Block Department Store, Western Electric, and St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.
Phyllis is survived by her sister, Becki (Tom) Linville; brother, Bob (Alice) Slack; niece, Sarah Habr; brother-in-law, Michael Habr; nephews, Joe Habr, John and Michael Slack; and several great nieces and nephews.
Her favorite thing was traveling with her husband during his road trips as a truck driver. Phyllis is preceded by her husband, Bill Russell; brother, Jim Slack; sister, Theresa Habr.
A graveside service is scheduled for 12pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Tom Knight will be officiating.
