
Phyllis (P-Bo) L. Decker, 73, of Greenfield went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2014. She was born on February 14, 1941 to Charles H. Boles and Elizabeth A. (Andis) Axon. She loved sports and was a big Colts fan. She loved her family, was like a mom to many people, and was fun to be around. She retired from Western Electric/AT&T/ Lucent in 1990 and from Keihin in 2004. She was a member of First Church of God. Phyllis is survived by her son Kenny L. (Lisa) Haste of New Palestine, daughter E. Ann (John) Williams of Greenfield; her grandchildren Kristie Grant, Misty Young, Kenny Haste II, Amber Beach, Matthew Foster, Heather Paugh, and Alex Paugh; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Mary “Betty” E. (Virgil) Taylor; aunt Myrtle Bray; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melvin M. Decker, brother Charles Richard Boles, and her stepdad Gordon “Pop” Axon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at First Church of God in Greenfield from 2 – 5 pm. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, December 29, 2014 at First Church of God in Greenfield at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.

Ann you have our deepest sympathy of the loss of your mom. I didn’t get to know her very well. It is hard to lose a mom but to know where she is now; is a great comfort. I think you took after your mom since you show love for people and your God. Love and prayers Aunt Gerry
