
Peggy Darlene (Taylor) Lipps, 64, from Indianapolis, Indiana passed away March 27, 2014. Peggy was born to William L. Taylor (retired Army), and Hazel J. Taylor on October 8, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Buena Vista HS, in AZ, Avon Park HS in FL and Warren HS in Indianapolis.
For over 30 years, Peggy worked at Indiana Bell/Ameritech/SBC/AT&T and retired in 2007. She was also involved in square dancing clubs, meteorology groups and loved Seal Point Siamese cats and reptiles, especially snakes and lizards. Peggy had a passion for art, architecture, musicals, CB (handle Skydaisy) and Ham (call sign KB9PRR) radio, and also her sports cars, especially her ‘89 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Pace Car.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Susannah (Zachary) Glascock Francis, and her only grandchild, Joellyn. Peggy is also survived by her mother, Hazel Taylor, sister, Melodye Taylor Kurtz, sister, Susan Carter, brother, Duane (Cathy) Taylor, brother, Michael Taylor, and brother, Brian Taylor. Visitation will be held at Buck Creek ChristianChurch( www.buckcreekchristian.org), 3525 Senour Rd., Indy, on Thurs., Apr. 3rd from 4-8 pm and a funeral service will be held on Fri., Apr. 4th at 11 am, also at BCCC.
