
Paul Doyne Conner, 73, of Dana, Indiana died December 29 at 10:35 pm at North Logan Health Care in Danville, Illinois. He was born September 24, 1942 to the late Doyne and Mary (Jones) Conner.
He was raised on his parents’ farm in Bono, IN. He was a 1961 graduate of Dana High School.
Paul served in the US Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the purple heart.
He drove a school bus for South Vermillion School Corporation for 35 years, and had also been employed at Pawley Lumber Co. of Dana for 11 years.
Survivors include one son Paul David Conner and 3 grandchildren Christopher, Dalton, and Sierra and his pride and joy, a great-grandson Oliver, all of Clinton. Also surviving are 2 sisters Barbara Stultz and Lora Thomas; 2 brothers Delbert (Belva) and Chuck (Jean) Conner; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Bono Cemetery Chapel. Funeral Service will be held immediately following by Reverend Marvin Miller.
Burial will follow in Bono Cemetery. Donations may be made to Dana Fire Department, Dana Boosters, or Dana 49ers Club.
