Pat was the dearest soul among the staff at Second Presbyterian. She loved to share her family with us, and always took time for each of us to share our family with her. Pat and I started working together about the same time at Second Presbyterian Church. She and I had a mutual friend Judy Klink who we would always look forward to seeing at her annual Christmas cookie exchange party. We shared so many laughs the last 15 years but I also got many hugs as well. I am certainly going to miss that beautiful smile that would light up my day. Second Presbyterian has lost a beautiful, beautiful spirit and I am going to miss my friend. The blessing was that if it had to be her time she was surrounded by people who loved her and in a beautiful church that she cherished working at. May God continue to wrap his love around her husband and children.

I was going to call Pat yesterday morning to tell her of my husband’s upcoming surgery, never realizing that she would not be at Second. She had gone to be with her Heavenly Father. She touched many lives and will not be soon forgotten. Blessings to her family and those who loved her.

Jim and Family:
Sherrie and I send our deepest sympathies to you. We were fortunate to get to experience Pat’s joy and love for others at both Carmel UMC and Second Presbyterian Church. And of course, dear Jim, how well we remember how warmly you showed us Christ’s love during our time in Carmel. We are filled with sadness today, but are comforted by sweet memories of Pat, and realizing that she is now pain free and in the arms of her Lord.
