Oliver Forrow, 23 years old and our beloved son, passed away last Saturday April 7th in the early morning hours.
Oliver was born in Bristol, England on May 5th, 1994. He arrived two weeks late. Being just a bit late was to be a theme throughout his short life.
After starting school at Crossways primary in Thornbury he moved with his family to Indianapolis in 2001, attending Fishers Junior HS before attending High school at Hamilton South-Eastern.
Oliver graduated High School in 2012 then attended Ball State and IUPUI; finally graduating from Kelley school of Business with a double major in Business and International studies. Oliver rightly credited his mother’s administrative and driving skills for helping his success and overcoming his ability to always arrive at school late (slightly).
In January 2018 Oliver started his first job with the Buckeye Chemical Company as a field sales representative. They really saw Ollie starting to blossom. He was doing something he loved, meeting and talking to people and quickly building positive relationships. In his short time he had already hit his targets and was being aligned for a fast track progression. Oliver was rightly proud of that; as we all will be forever.
Oliver went through all the typical teen phases of skateboarding, old pop music, heavy rock, contemporary music and even becoming world ranked as an X Box FIFA champion.
A common thread through his life was a love for Soccer. He was an ardent fan of Arsenal soccer club and himself played for his High School, both Fishers and Indiana Premier Soccer Clubs as well as spending a short spell with Westfield. He made many lifelong friends through school and sport.
Oliver in his mid-teens developed Epilepsy; whilst this impacted his health he never let it inhibit how he lived or behaved. This showed tremendous fortitude and character.
Probably for the first time in his life Ollie has arrived early somewhere; I pray he is at God’s front door now. Ollie is probably as amazed as we are, that he got there early. We wish with all hearts he had not, of course, but hope that he is watching us all right now and is at peace; probably playing on an Xbox.
Oliver is survived and very much missed by his Mum Deborah, Father Nick and his younger siblings Joseph and Sophie.
Oliver’s funeral is at Holy Spirit of Geist; 10350 Glasier Way, Fishers, IN 46037 on April 20th.
There will be a visitation starting at 12 noon, followed by a mass at 2pm.
This will be a celebration of Oliver’s life themes of having fun, love and friendship. ……………………………….Even Tottenham Soccer Club fans are welcome.
Oliver wouldn’t want flowers but rather donations made online, at “www.epilepsy.com”.
At the very top of their web page, near the centre, is a “Donate” button. On the next page, check the box that says “This gift is dedicated to someone special”, you can then enter Oliver Forrow, and the Forrow family email of nickanddeb7899@gmail.com. Please also enter a message. Below this is where the donor would enter their details.
This would be truly wonderful way to help combat the condition and help other sufferers.

Dear Nick and Family –
Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers. It is difficult to accept the loss of your child as we expect to depart before them. I have two children in Heaven and feel they watch over me (and perhaps put in a good word for Mom on occasion) … but they are greatly missed.
Please bask in the wonderful memories you have of your son and brother.
I’ll continue to ask God to wrap you in His grace.

Nick and Family,
Just heard about your loss, and felt overwhelmed by sadness. So very difficult to understand why these things happen when they do, but we must take comfort in knowing that the 23 years you had, although all too short, were blessed and wonderful! What a beautiful tribute you wrote for your son, and although I didn’t know him personally, I felt as if I did….bravo!
Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayer in the coming days, weeks and months, but the real comfort will be in your faith and the support of family and friends, which will be invaluable during this time. Embrace all you can!
Lori, Austin & Nick Kinder says
My sons went to school with yours & I got to know Oliver from always being a room mom. Although that was a long time ago, Oliver was one of those kids that left me smiling when I heard his name. What a funny & sweet child you raised! My heart sank when I heard he no longer graces this world. May God wrap his loving arms around your family and give you strength.
Sarah Lark says
Nick and Family,
What a wonderful tribute written to Oliver. It is evident from the tribute and the conversations we had regarding Ollie how much he meant to the entire family. Although he is not physically with you now memories of him will last forever. God must have some really great plans for him to have chosen him now. I realize how difficult this time is, but please be comforted by knowing all of you are in the thoughts and prayers of many people including me.
Marek Davis says
Im sorry Forrow family. I hope you are doing well, Joe, and that you can take what Ollie was able to give you as an older brother forbthe rest of your life. He will always be with you man!

Helen Forrow says
Dear Nick, Deb, Joe and Sophie, I’m sorry I can’t be there today to join you in celebrating Ollie’s life and to say goodbye. The boys and I are thinking of you and send lots of love. Somewhere on the other side of the rainbow I’m sure he is making them laugh and has already found an Arsenal fan or two to discuss Arsene Wenger’s resignation. We are heartbroken that his story ended way too soon but we will always think of him and smile. In the boys’ eyes he will always be one third of the superhero team affectionately known as “The Cousins “.
