Norma J. Henry, 82, of Anderson, went to meet her heavenly Father on April 20, 2017.

She was born in Anderson on December 8, 1934, the daughter of Elmer and Eliza Hutton.  After her parents passed early in her life, she and her siblings were raised by their grandmother, Sarah Hurn.  She lived most of her life in Anderson.  She loved to plant and had a green thumb.

She is survived by her children, Butch (Marie) Mercer, Brenda K. Meade, Tim Mercer, Penny Price, Sara (Phil) Holden, Kathy Webster; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Swango; and her cat, Mia.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifford Henry; children, Terry Lee Cook, Elizabeth Faye Cook, and Marcie Lynn Mercer; parents; and sister, Joan Black.

A private family service will be held.  Donations may be directed to Veterans Charity or a charity of your choice.
