Nina Dean Fontenot (Muse)
03/20/1934-07/12/2019
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nina Dean Fontenot (Muse); our loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. Nina passed away peacefully at St. Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by those who loved her most.
Nina Dean was born March 20, 1934 to Cleveland and Lena Muse, in Burkesville Kentucky. She had several brothers and sisters. Nina spent her life traveling the country. She saw many, many places and always had incredible stories to tell about her travels. Nina was a lover of country music. George Jones always held a very special place in her heart. She was a mother whose love goes unmatched. A grandmother who was cherished by all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Nina lived her life giving to others. She was incredibly generous and kind. If she saw someone in need, she would do anything she could to help. Whether that be monetarily, serving a meal, items for warmth, and sometimes even a place to live. She gave so selflessly. The world can really learn something about life, and the key to a long one, well lived, from her. She is survived by her 4 loving children, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
