Nila Jean Lamb, 66, of Mt. Comfort, IN, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013.  She was born on March 15, 1947 at Henry County Hospital. She attended Mount Summit grade school and graduated from Blue River High School in the class of 1965.  Nila worked various jobs and spent many years at New Castle State Hospital. She worked for 28 years at the Indiana School for the Blind as a living skills instructor in the young boy’s dorm.  She retired on March 15, of 2012. Nila enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She shared the last 26 years of her life with life partner Elaine Robinson, who remains a part of our family.  We will miss her greatly and look forward to our reunion in heaven!  Survivors include life partner, Bevelyn E. Robinson; mother, Loretta Lamb of Lewisville; three children, Randall (Connie) Limburg of Bristol, VA, James (April) Limburg and Karen Dale of Hagerstown, IN; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Beth) Lamb of New Castle, Richard (Ellie) Lamb of Knightstown and one sister, Nena Pope of Cadiz. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 at Central Christian Church, 701 N. Delaware Street, Indianapolis, IN.
