Life brings thoughts of old.  Bringing way to the new.  Today we gather to celebrate the new life into which Nettie Jane Gee has transitioned into eternal life. She departed on March 2, 2014 at 1 PM, at Hooverwood Nursing Home, with her only loving son Phillip and Daughter In-Law Twyiana by her side.

Nettie Jane was a very loving mother that loved her son tremendously.

She was the last living sibling born to this union.  Preceded her in death were five brothers, Phillip, Arnold, Clay, Warren and Charles, and two sister, Martha Berry and Maria Jones.

Nettie professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of several local churches throughout the years with the last Church being Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church.  She attended School 37 and Crispus Attucks High School.

Nettie worked in the Dry Cleaning Industry much of her life and was a gifted cooked, well known for her sweet potato and fried pies.

She leaves to cherish in her memory her only son Phillip his wife, (Twyiana) Sebree, One Grandson, Donald Webb, and Two Great Grandaughters, Donea Webb, and Mekhi Brittain, and One Great Grandson Dominic Webb, and a host of loving nieces and nephews , relatives and friends.
