A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel. Visitation will be from 11-12, with the service following at 12.
Nettie Jane was a very loving mother that loved her son tremendously.
Nettie Jane as she was known, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 29, 1923 to Philip and Nettie (Hendricks) Gee. She was the last living sibling born to this union. Preceded her in death were five brothers, Phillip, Arnold, Clay, Warren and Charles, and two sister, Martha Berry and Maria Jones.
Nettie professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of several local churches throughout the years with the last Church being Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. She attended School 37 and Crispus Attucks High School.
Nettie worked in the Dry Cleaning Industry much of her life and was a gifted cooked, well known for her sweet potato and fried pies.
She leaves to cherish in her memory her only son Phillip his wife, (Twyiana) Sebree, One Grandson, Donald Webb, and Two Great Grandaughters, Donea Webb, and Mekhi Brittain, and One Great Grandson Dominic Webb, and a host of loving nieces and nephews , relatives and friends.
