Naomi Young, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 1, 2019. She was born on November 28, 1932.
Naomi attended the Bridgeman Academy and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Fu Jen Catholic University in Beijing, China.
She was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Wabash, Indiana and the Chinese Community Church in Carmel, Indiana.
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Gloria and her husband, Michael; as well as her granddaughter, Kristin.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 6 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, www.michaeljfox.org/donate in Naomi’s memory.

Naomi was always special to us. We remember all the times she would come over to our house and fix us Chinese food. She was such a Godly women. Heaven will be glad to have her now. She will be missed down here.

Naomi was a very GODly woman, praying warrior, courageous fighter against Satan’s attack, faithful Christian ……………………….she loved dogs ,jasmine flower, playing piano, painting, collecting beautiful art work……………………she was a wonderful and talented woman, great friend. I believe that Naomi rest in GOD’s loving arms. Gloria, you really do try your best to take very good care of your mom and I believe that she did appreciate all the good things you have done for her.
