My mother and step dad Mike married in 1963. He was an amazing man. He loved his family and was very committed to caring for them.

He was a WWII Veteran, and had a great love of country.

He was a gentle man, and will be greatly missed.

I know he is in a much better place. He and my mother are finally together again.

    Love and Miss you dad!!

Great Grandpa Mike was a great man. He always helped my Mom with me and my sister growing up. He taught me how to make coffee and oatmeal. He also taught me how to make cakes and how to fix things that were broken and no longer a use to others. My Great Grandpa was a kind hearted kinda guy. When I was 11 a tornado hit my school and he drove up to my school to get me out before the tornado had hit. Sadly he got caught right in the middle of the tornado while trying to save me! His Jeep was totaled. He got cut and brused everywhere. Lucky he was okay. He taught me so many things and he helped my Mom so much growing up. They don’t make men like my Great Grandpa anymore at all. He was the true definition of a man. He told me stories of the war and how he met his wife, my Great Grandma Nina which I’m named after. The things I miss the most about my Grandpa is his talks me and him had often. He was very smart and very crafty. I miss you Grandpa. Your with Grandma Nina again. I hope you are finally happy. I love you
