Michael Holowach, 90, Indianapolis, passed away on April 25, 2015.  He was born on October 21, 1924 in Cambridge Springs, PA to Simon and Lucille Holowach.  Michael graduated from Butler   in 1950 after serving with the Air Force in WWII.   Michael worked as an insurance agent for Mutual Benefit Life and was the owner of Holowach Insurance Agency Inc.  He belonged to several organizations such as the Scottish Rite (60 yrs.), Blue Lodge Millersville (50 yrs. honorary), was an avid golfer at Ulen Country Club, Broad Ripple Sertoma (44 yrs.) where he spent many years dealing black jack and a bowler for many years with the Murat Shrine League.

Survivors include his wife; Joan Holowach, daughter; Michelle Wooden (William), son; Jeffrey Holowach (Brittany), Brothers; Simon and James Holowach, Sisters; Irene Evans and Pauline McIntire; 2 granddaughters,  Lauren Wooden and Cassie Holowach; 2 grandsons, Kyle Wooden and Simon Holowach and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by His parents, Simon and Lucille Holowach, his brothers Stephen, John, Charles, George and Frank Holowach, his sisters Helen Zemcik, Anna Revak and Dorothy Smith.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory; Harry W. Moore Chapel 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and aides of Hooverwood for their care and devotion to Michael.
