
Maud Loise Garnett, daughter of the late Clincy and Mary Trammell, Sr., was born August 16, 1923 in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Maud L. Garnett professed a hope in Christ at an early age, where she attended New Liberty Baptist Church (Indianapolis, Indiana).
On February 10, 1949, Maud was united in marriage to the late, Arthur Garnett. They shared 25 years together, and were blessed with 3 children.
Maud finished high school and went on to graduate from beauty college as a cosmetologist; however, she never practiced because she became a housewife, caretaker, and babysitter; which she enjoyed.
Maud enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Maud departed this life on November 11, 2017 at the age of 94 years old. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Sherman R. Garnett Jr. and Aaron M. Garnett.
Maud leaves to cherish her precious memory son, Sherman R. Garnett, Sr. (Elizabeth); daughters, Mary Davis (Eric White) and Pearl Garnett; brothers, Curtis Trammell and Clincy Trammell, Jr. (Theodora) of Arkansas; sister, Lena Payne; grandchildren, Michelle Marks, William Garnett, Benjamin Yates III, Sherrice Mosley, Arthur Davis, Ronald Davis Jr. (Kristin), Bryan Garnett, and Anthony Garnett; 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time.
