Matthew C. Cassidy, 61, Indianapolis, IN passed away November 19, 2017.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 with visitation from 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.

To my friend Matt Cassidy God saw that you were growing weary so He did what He knew to do so He came and Stood Beside You and He came and stood beside and whispered come Matt and rest with me you gave no one a last farewell not even a goodbye you went and obey the Lord to do what He wanted you to do. To come rest with Him in the HEAVENS in the sky My friend when one leaves you there’s an emptiness inside an emptiness sometimes that cannot be ignored and today I felt that emptiness because I was missing you so I told myself you don’t have to feel such saddness for him like that remember all the things you’ll use to do laughing and talking about everything while sitting at the kitchen as you were eating whatever I may have cooked saying that you hadn’t good cooking since your mom was alive I would always give you plate to take with you and we just laugh as you’re leaving we tell each other to be careful inside. I begin to remember those times and memorized all the memories of our times together my sadness on my face was replaced by a smile full of grace rest in peace my friend I know that someday we’ll be together again until then I know that you’re gone but you never will be forgotten your friend
