Mary Janet Keller, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 19, 2016.  She was born in Indianapolis on August 17, 1951 to the late, Charles and Jeanette Galbreath. Janet is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve; sons, Steven (Merhan) and Christopher (Adrianne); granddaughter, Katliyn; brother-in-law, Ron Foster; brothers, Michael Galbreath and Charles Galbreath II; and her beloved dog, Lexy.

The love for her children was primary in her life, shown by her passion as a Mother.  Becoming a Grandmother continued this excitement for her.  Janet’s love for all her family was always enthusiastic, constantly creating excuses for gathering.

Janet always had the gift of artistry, as she worked in interior design both in the corporate world as well as an entrepreneur.  A period of department store clothing sales was yet another experience in art as she loved clothing style.

Janet would love to be remembered for her love of Jesus the Christ.  Her study of and dedication to the Lord was again nothing less than passionate.  She served on numerous domestic and international missions, and was a member of College Park Church.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at College Park Church, 2606 W. 96th Street. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time.

She is dearly loved and tearfully missed.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to College Park Church in Mary’s name.

To be in the presence of the Lord… that is all JK ever wanted for her and her family throughout eternity. And that remains possible for you all. Until then, may you all be comforted by the memories of her constantly preaching Jesus, her vivacious personality, those big baby blue eyes, her bold laugh and her passionate love for you all.
My compassion and condolences goes out to each of you at such a time as this.

Just heard about Janet’s passing today. Ron and I went to Northview Church when we knew Janet.

It was an honor to know Janet… and for our lives to intersect during those years.

Sending our love to the family…

In the book, Heaven is for real… little Colton Burpo (4 years old) went to heaven during a surgery and he said: “Heaven is for real, and you are gonna love it”

    Janet is loving heaven!

What hope for all of us.
Yet, also hope for comfort at this time of YOUR loss.. May HIS presence so comfort you in these days of missing Janet.

    Shalom…

Wow! Steve and family, Chuckie and Mike, I just this minute learned of Janet’s death. Needless to say I’m shocked. It’s been a long time since our paths have crossed but always considered “Jankers” to be one of my best friends. I’m so sooty to learn of this very sad news.
