Mary Della Brummitt passed away on July 26, 2019.
Mary was a wonderful woman that was loved and will always be cherished and remembered. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and “Mammy”.
Mary was born to Franz Rexroat and Carolyn Ward on July 8, 1963. She had eight brothers and sisters.
Tom and Mary Brummitt were married on October 1, 1984. Together, they had three sons-Thomas (Ashley), Jonathan (Katie), and James (Kaitlyn).
Mary worked at the Columbia Club in Indianapolis for twenty years.
Her six grandsons were her heart and joy. Thomas, Peyton, Johnny, Braydon, Noah, and Kaleb referred to her as “Mammy” and they will forever cherish the memories made with her.
Rest In Peace. We will all miss you tremendously.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care – Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Indiana Funeral Care entrusted with care.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Mary for the first time when we were both 11. I remember thinking that there couldn’t be a prettier girl on this earth. She proved that many times over during her life. Not only was she beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. She will be sorely missed.

Mary my beautiful friend, I am at a lost for words. We had so many great times together that I will cherish always! My heart is broken to know I will never get to laugh with you again. I know the last several years we were not around each other because of grandkids, work etc but you will ALWAYS be the best friend that I ever had and I will truly never stop loving you sweet girl.
