Mary Anne Burnett, July 21, 1928 – February 14, 2017.

Was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School. Mary Anne then attended Christian College in Columbia, MO.  Upon graduation, and prior to having children, she worked at the Indianapolis Star News in the social department.

She married Robert C. Burnett in 1950 and remained married until his death in 1993.

She enjoyed volunteering at school, for St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild, as well as the Indianapolis Museum of Art Guild giftshop.

Mary Anne is survived by their three daughters, Cynthia Ann Fineberg, Janice Lee Lingenfelter (Joe), and Carol Ann Noller (Fred).

She is also survived by four grandchildren, David (Caroline) and Brian (Amanda) Fineberg and Michael (Ayreka)  and Erin Lingenfelter, as well as five great grandchildren, Adam, Lauren and Abigail Fineberg; and Alexandra and Brayden Fineberg.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 22^nd at 1:00 p.m. with calling from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis.
