Dear Wasik family, you have my utmost sympathies. The death of a loved one causes deep pain. There is no feeling like it. But soon that grief will be replaced with joy. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, “I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief.” No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on “the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort” to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)
