Mary Ann Schraub, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away April 7, 2016.

Mary Ann was Born July 31, 1941, to Fred and Hortense (Wilson) Worley. She was a 1959 graduate of Shortridge High School. She later worked as a CNA and Activities Director at Westminster Village, and as a Unit Secretary at Methodist Hospital. She was a member of the Nettie Ransford Eastern Star Lodge and the Oaklandon Youth Organization, and loved square dancing, bowling, crafting, and NASCAR. Throughout her life she welcomed over 50 foster children into her home.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leland (Lee) Schraub. She is survived by her Children, Robert (Carla) Irey, Debra (Jeff) Kessler, John (Beth) Schraub, Mary Jane (Jeff) Malicoat, and Joseph Schraub; Grandchildren, Sarah Ann Mayhugh, Heather Lynn (Thomas) Surface, Brooklyne Schraub, Savanna Malicoat, Austyn Jones, and Dallas Jones; Great-grandson, Michael Allender; Sister, Sarah J. Getts; Nephews, Jody Walker and Brian Walker, and 2 Great-nieces.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Riley Children s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. April 12, 2016, at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time.
