Marilyn K. Deckard,69, resided in Beech Grove, passed away on May 23rd, 2016. Marilyn was born to Gene and Phyllis Cowgill on December 29, 1946. Marilyn was known as Mamaw to everyone. She was somebody that you could always count on to be there or give you a good laugh.

Mamaw was committed to animals and a pet lover, she would bring home any animal that looked abandoned. Marilyn was just as committed to her friends and family.

She is survived by her 3 children: Albert, Connie (Herman), Ernest; grandchildren: Jordan, Brandon (fiancé Alex), Sierra, Maitland ,Monique, Micheal, Michelle, Melissa, Marcello, Adam, Thomas, Gabriel, Nicole, Daniel, Albert, Bianca; great grandchildren: Stella, Julianna, Arianna, Lilliana, and one on the way, Finley; her three sisters, Judy, Janet, and Phyllis; and her long time significant other, Darrell Scott.
