Marilyn L. (Waggoner) Bowman
September 23, 1936 – December 5, 2017
Marilyn passed from this life into the presence of her lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Dallas Bowman; and eight children, Kathy Pryor, Kathy Bowman, Judy Royer, Steve Bowman, Teresa Meyer, Lisa Thompson, Dallas Bowman Jr. and Vicki Hyatt. Also, 26 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Also, a brother, Thomas Waggoner and a sister, Jerry Ann Brawley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Waggoner and Mildred (Sloan) Waggoner; a brother, Dickie Waggoner; one grandchild, Brian Pryor; and two great grandchildren, Katlynn Dickason and Jayda Bowman.
Marilyn loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking for family reunions. But she was happiest when taking care of the grand babies. She loved the Spring when things were turning green, planting flowers, and going mushroom hunting. However, she was scared of snakes which often cut her hunting short. She worked at Newberry’s, Twigg Industries, Danner’s 3D, and retired from K-Mart.
She will be sorely missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and all who knew her.
She was a member of the Family of God Church where funeral services will be held on Monday 12/11/2017 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:30. Pastors Ben Lopopossa and Johnny Tinsley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Park Cemetery.

My grandma was an amazing woman. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and showed kindness to all. There are so many wonderful memories of this woman but her coming to pick up my family in the middle of tornado so we would be safe since we lived in a trailer stands out the most. Like I said she would do anything for others. Granma we will miss you so very much until we see you in Heaven one day. Grandpa we love you and if you need anything we are here for you.
Love you
