Margaret M. Patterson, 91, of Carmel Indiana died Sunday March 22, 2015. She was born August 7, 1923 in Chinquapin, North Carolina to John and Ruth McBryde.

Margaret was a graduate of Mary Baldwin College, Staunton, Virginia where she received a degree in Mathematics. She taught mathematics for over 30 years until her retirement in 1986. Margaret was married December 27, 1950 to James H. Patterson.

Margaret is survived by her sisters Ruth Hill and Mary Gray of Falls Church, Virginia; her daughters Elizabeth Pinto of Carmel, Indiana and Ruth Pegram of West Palm Beach, Florida; 5 Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband James H. Patterson, her parents and her brother John McBryde.

Margaret will be buried with her husband James at the Patterson Chapel United Methodist Church in Enoree South Carolina. There will be a family memorial service later this year.
