Sweet Madelyn (Maddi) Grace Johnson entered the world on May 15, 2019 at 3:03 pm to the proudest mommy and daddy, Sarah and Derek Johnson. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Maddi went to be with her Heavenly Father while in her mother’s womb.
Her time was spent surrounded by her adoring family who will never forget the joy Maddi brought to them. She enjoyed keeping mommy up with her late night kicks and listening to her parents and big sister sing to her. They will always remember the blessing of holding Maddi in their arms.
Maddi’s mommy and daddy are also parents of her big sister, Emma Jean. She is loved dearly by her parents, big sister, grandparents Mike and Donna Heilman and Dan and Terri Johnson, great-grandmas Judy Walgamuth and Darlene Johnson, great-grandparents Dave and Jan Heilman, aunts and uncles Ryan Johnson, Rebekah and Ryan Hurst, Michael and Jenni Heilman, Philip Heilman and Megan Floyd, and many others.
She was welcomed in Heaven by her great-grandmom Norma Eaton and great-grandpas Duzzy Johnson and Terry Walgamuth. Maddi will always remain her parents’ precious child and Emma’s little sister, and they look forward to spending eternity with her in Heaven.
A family service was held to celebrate Maddi on Monday, May 20, 2019. Memorials may be given in Maddi’s honor to help support the adoption process of friends of the family. Checks may be mailed to Derek and Sarah or memorials can be given online at: https://secure.lifesong.org/give/donate/, then selecting Adoption and then Adoptive Family. Family name is Lynn and family account number is 5137. Donations in Maddi’s memory can also be made to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep at: https://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/donate/, a nonprofit which helps grieving parents through remembrance photography.

Dear Derek and Sarah,
My heart is so full for your family. I pray that the God of all Comfort will provide what you need today and in the months to come. He is able to sustain you during this time. Seek His face – call and He will answer. I am so sorry.
Blessings.

To the Parents and Family of Madelyn Grace Johnson,
I wish to express my deepest sympathy to you at this very unfortunate time.
May these scriptures bring comfort to you at this time.
Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will live” Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever” John 5:25 “The hour is coming and it is now when the dead will hear the voice of the son of god” Revelation 21:4 “ He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be No More “
May this comfort you while you wait for the promise to be reunited with her.
