Lyman Leonard Wachob, 77, passed away on May 17, 2016, while a resident of Riverwalk Village VA Contracted Nursing Home in Noblesville, Indiana.

He was born on March 10, 1939 in Anderson, Indiana. Lyman spent the majority of his life in Oklahoma City. Lyman was married on November 10, 1982 in Moore, Oklahoma to Marilyn Joyce Strahan , who preceded him in death in 1996. They had no children.

During his lifetime, Lyman lived in New York City, Phoenix , AZ, Anderson, IN, and the final 34 years of his life in the Oklahoma City Area, where he was a Maintenance Manager of a well known Motel Chain in Oklahoma City Area.

Lyman is survived by his 6 siblings, Judith Robertson, Anderson, IN, Ronald (Danielle) Wachob, Largo, FL, William (Nina) Wachob, Anderson., IN, Doris Reichart, Anderson, IN, Nancy McConnell, Anderson, IN, and Robert (Barbara) Wachob, Indianapolis, IN.

Lyman is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Allen Wachob and Mabel Irene (Combs) Wachob, and a younger brother, Curtis Paul (Jackie) Wachob.

Lyman was a US Army Veteran with service at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri and Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and was assigned to an Infantry Unit, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1959.

Lyman received his High School GED Certificate from the State of Arizona.

Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Indianapolis, IN is in charge of all arrangements.

Lyman will receive Full Military Honors. Interment will be at the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana. A short Committal Service will be performed at the Marion National Cemetery at 1 PM on June 3, 2016.

A special Thank You goes out to all the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, the Indianapolis VA Medical Center, and, last, and most important, Riverwalk Village Nursing Home, Noblesville, IN, for the tender, loving, professional care that they rendered to Lyman during his terminal cancer illness.
