Linda Anne (Mount) Gordon, 71
Our devoted sister, unconditionally loving mother, and sacrificing friend passed away peacefully in her home at Robin Run Sunday May 4th. Linda was raised in Crawfordsville, where her family owned and operated the Francis and Mount feed store. She attended Crawfordsville High School where she played the piccolo in the marching band. For 35 years Linda devoted her hard work and compassion as a patient care technician at St. Vincent Hospital. Caring for others in need brought her great joy and many of those under her care expressed great regard for her. Linda will be triumphantly welcomed into the gates of Heaven by God and Jesus; her first son, James Bailey; late husband, Donald B. Gordon; parents, Joseph Ray and Celeste Mount; and many other past family members and friends. She will be forever missed and held in our hearts by her brother, William Mount and wife, Phyllis; her sisters, Karen Harris and Rita Marcum; sons, Kyle and Kevin Gordon and wife Anna; and the family and friends that will one day see her again in the Lord’s House.
Visitation will be at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg, Indiana on May 8, 2014 from 9-11am with services following and ending at noon. She will be interred at Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Flowers can be sent directly to the church to be delivered before 9am. Friends may sign her online guest book at www.indianafuneralcare.com.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Linda’s passing, I worked with her for 10 years at Carmel-St. Vincent Hospital in the Emergency Room. I have just recently moved back to Carmel and re-connected with Linda after an 18 year separation. I am so sad that death has broken out new connection. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her sons and their families. Rest in peace my friend.
